In one week, I will be going back to the city that inspired me to follow a new path.  As much as this city is sang, idolized and dreamt about, it really lives up to all the hype.  

A beautiful park in the middle of a busy metropolis, the crowds of people which never make you feel alone, the view of the Brooklyn Bridge, the highly efficient subway system, and a place where you are free to dream about being just about anything you want to be - 

what's not to love?

Besides, on my last trip I bought an "I heart NY" shirt and they don't accept refunds.

follow your heart.

Over the past year I've had to make some sacrifices adjustments in my life in order to make LANGsura  happen.  


For example: 

• waking up early to do LANGsura work before going to my other work and some times having to continue when I get back home
•  not going on as many trips and trust me, I would be writing this post in Croatia or somewhere outside of Canada right now!
• cutting down my personal spending, for example: paying for my business cards instead of getting a new purse

Although this is what I signed up for and what I want to do, some times I ask myself: is it worth it?  After reflecting over what has happened in the past few weeks the answer that should be so obvious is....

If this has taught me anything it is to follow your heart (as cheesy and cliche as it sounds it is so true) because it will lead you to some amazing places.




Thank you to every single person that helped me make this happen (and this includes EVERY PERSON that came to the event last night!).  From the bottom of my heart, thank you - without your support, encouragement, and love, I probably would have given up.

shooting inspiration

One of my favourite parts of starting LANGsura has been doing the photoshoot.  Nothing is more inspiring than getting to see the clothes tell a story. 

This Friday, I meet with the photographer to set a date and discuss ideas for the next shoot.  So right now my life is all about finding inspiring images... thank you, Pinterest!

We recently provided clothing for a photoshoot which featured the new Kevin Murphy hair product called colour bug.  

If we weren't sure about the look before, we are definitely SOLD now!  The hair looks amazing and so do our dresses... more pictures to come.

I'm not in the business of selling shoes but I just purchased this new program today for future LANGsura projects.  After watching a few online tutorials and play around with it for it a bit, here is what I got.

Reason why I love nude shoes: 

they go with everything & also give your legs a little more length!

hello stranger...

A lot has happened in the last 2.5 months (yep, that was the last post) which means much progress for LANGsura.com! Most of my time has continued to still go into getting the written part of the website complete and its almost there. This step is probably the most slowest, boring, tedious of the whole process, a lot of legal jargon, creating policies, term of use for the site... and the list continues.

The most exciting news to share with you is the NEW logo for LANGsura.com!
